Ihre Aufgaben und Verantwortlichkeiten

Die Abteilung Business Audits & Internal Control bietet unabhängige und objektive Sicherheits- und Beratungsleistungen, um die Einhaltung von Vorschriften zu gewährleisten und die Abläufe des Unternehmens kontinuierlich zu verbessern.

Innerhalb dieser Abteilung hat das Team für Betriebsprüfung und interne Kontrollen die Aufgabe, durch interne Audits und die Überprüfung der internen Kontrollen die Risiken des Unternehmens zu minimieren, gleichzeitig Möglichkeiten zur Steigerung der Effizienz und Widerstandsfähigkeit zu optimieren und Entscheidungsträgern unabhängige Beratung zu Themen von hoher Tragweite zu bieten.

Innerhalb dieses Teams besteht Ihre Aufgabe als Business Auditor darin, zur Kernaufgabe beizutragen, indem Sie die Compliance und Effizienz unserer Prozesse unabhängig prüfen und im Rahmen der kontinuierlichen Verbesserung und des Risikomanagements unseres Unternehmens Hinweise zu den wichtigsten Chancen und Risiken geben. Darüber hinaus unterstützen Sie in Zusammenarbeit mit den anderen Abteilungen von Airbus die Einführung und Weiterentwicklung unseres internen Kontrollsystems. In dieser Funktion leiten Sie die Einführung und Steuerung der internen Kontrollen für einen definierten Prozessbereich und fördern das Bewusstsein, die Identifizierung systemischer Risiken, die Abbildung von Kontrollen sowie die Durchführung von Tests der zweiten Kontrolllinie.

Ihre Aufgaben:

Der Business Auditor ist in erster Linie für die Leitung von Audits oder Untersuchungen verantwortlich, die Teil des jährlichen internen Auditplans sind.

In dieser Funktion übernimmt der Business Auditor folgende Hauptaufgaben:

• Leitung der Vorbereitungsarbeiten zur Festlegung des Auditumfangs, Ermittlung geeigneter Prüfmethoden sowie entsprechende Planung von Zeitplan und Ressourcen;
• Durchführung der internen Prüfungsarbeiten vor Ort
• Vorlage von Prüfungsergebnissen und Empfehlungen sowie Einbindung der Stakeholder in die Festlegung und Umsetzung von Korrekturmaßnahmen
• Unterstützung bei der Ursachenanalyse und der Festlegung von Korrekturmaßnahmen
• Kommunikation der wichtigsten Prüfungsergebnisse an die Geschäftsleitung und die wichtigsten Stakeholder
• Überwachung und Unterstützung der Stakeholder beim Abschluss der Maßnahmen
• Entscheidung über den Abschluss der Prüfung und Kommunikation der Vorteile und verbleibenden Risiken des Prüfungsaktionsplans
• Koordination und Einbindung der Stakeholder während des gesamten Prüfungsprozesses. Information der Geschäftsleitung über potenzielle Risiken und Hindernisse

Der Business Auditor wird eine zusätzliche Rolle bei der Weiterentwicklung des internen Kontrollsystems übernehmen. Diese Aufgabe umfasst die folgenden Hauptverantwortlichkeiten:

• Einbindung interner Stakeholder in die interne Kontrolle durch Förderung der Umsetzung der erwarteten Governance-Maßnahmen und Sensibilisierung innerhalb der Organisation
• Unterstützung der Funktionen bei der Umsetzung der internen Kontrolle durch Beratung und Unterstützung bei der Identifizierung systemischer Risiken, der Erfassung von Kontrollen und der Prüfung der Umsetzung
• Überwachung der Testergebnisse und Korrekturmaßnahmen gemeinsam mit den verantwortlichen Maßnahmenverantwortlichen
• Effiziente Koordination mit dem bereichsübergreifenden Team für interne Kontrollen sowie Berichterstattung über Fortschritte und Hindernisse im eigenen Zuständigkeitsbereich
• Zusammenfassung der Testergebnisse für den Geschäftsbereich Helicopters und Eskalation wesentlicher Risiken oder Erfordernisse
• Beitrag zur Weiterentwicklung des Governance-Modells der internen Kontrollen (gewonnene Erkenntnisse, Korrekturmaßnahmen und kontinuierliche Verbesserung)

Für diese Funktion ist eine Qualifikation als interner Auditor erforderlich; die entsprechenden Schulungen (theoretisch und praktisch) werden den Kandidaten angeboten

Erforderliche Kenntnisse und Qualifikationen

• Bachelor-/ Masterabschluss im Bereich Engineering oder einem vergleichbaren Bereich
• Berufserfahrung in den Bereichen Revision, interne Kontrolle, Beratung oder Risikomanagement. Eine Qualifikation als Revisor wird intern vermittelt, falls diese noch nicht vorliegt
• Ausgeprägte analytische und methodische Fähigkeiten
• Kompetenzen im Projekt- und Risikomanagement
• Finanzielle Kenntnisse
• Gute Kommunikationsfähigkeiten und die Fähigkeit, Stakeholder einzubinden
• Hohe ethische und Compliance-Standards sowie die Verpflichtung zu integrem Handeln
• Nachgewiesene Fähigkeit, in einem internationalen Umfeld zu arbeiten
• Sprachen: Englisch und Deutsch sind Pflicht, Französisch ist von Vorteil

At our Donauwörth site, located on the banks of the river Danube, we develop helicopters from the initial idea to the airworthy product. Watch them take off and touch down on our own on-site test airfield.

Your tasks and responsibilities

The Quality and Business Audit department provides independent and objective assurance and advisory in order to secure compliance and continuously improve the organization's operations.

Within this department, the Business Audit & Internal control team has a mission to leverage internal audits and internal control testing to reduce the company’s risk exposure while optimising opportunities for efficiency and resilience, and delivering independent advice to decision-makers on high-stake topics. 

Within this team, your role as a Business auditor will be to contribute to the core mission by independently auditing the compliance and efficiency of our processes, as well as providing guidance on main opportunities and risks as part of our company's continuous improvement and risk management.You will also support the deployment and maturity of our internal control system in cooperation with the other divisions of Airbus. In this role, you will lead internal control deployment and governance for a defined scope of processes, and will promote awareness, identification of systemic risks, mapping of controls and implementation of second line testing.

Your challenges:

The Business Auditor will primarily be responsible for leading audits or investigations which are part of the annual internal audit plan. 

As such, the  business auditor will perform the following main tasks:

• Lead preparation work to frame the audit scope, identify testing methodologies appropriate for the audit, and plan schedule and resources accordingly
• Perform internal audit fieldwork 
• Deliver audit conclusions and recommendations, and engage stakeholders into corrective action definition and implementation
• Support root cause analysis and corrective action definition
• Communicate main audit highlights to top management and main stakeholders
• Monitor and support stakeholders in action closure
• Decide on audit closure and communicate on benefit and residual risks of audit action plan
• Coordinate and engage stakeholders along the audit process. Inform management of potential risks and blocking points

The business auditor will have an additional role in the maturity of the Internal Control System. That mission will include the following main responsibilities:

• Engage internal stakeholders in Internal Control by promoting implementation of the expected governance and awareness within the organization
• Support functions in deploying internal control by providing guidance and support in systemic risk identification, mapping of controls and testing implementation
• Monitor testing results and corrective actions with the responsible action owners
• Efficiently coordinate with the internal control cross-divisional team, and report on progress and blocking points on own scope
• Consolidate testing results for the Helicopters division, and escalate major risks or needs
• Contribute to the maturity of the governance model of internal control (lessons learned, corrective actions and continuous improvement)

Qualification as internal auditor will be required for the function, and the associated training will be provided to the candidates (theoretical and practical)

Desired skills and qualifications

• Bachelor/ Master Degree in the field of engineering or a related field
• Professional experience in audits, internal control, consulting services or risk management. Auditor qualification will be provided internally if not available
• Strong analytical and methodical competences
• Project and risk management skills
• Financial knowledge
• Good communication skills and ability to engage stakeholders
• High ethical and compliance standards and commitment to act with integrity
• Demonstrated ability to work in an international environment
• Languages: English and German are mandatory, French is a plus
