About Legalfit, a Centerbase Company

Legalfit, a Centerbase Company, helps law firms grow through modern digital marketing solutions built specifically for the legal industry. Our services combine website technology, search engine optimization (SEO), content, local search, reputation management, paid media, and emerging AI-search strategies to help law firms increase their online visibility and generate qualified opportunities.

As search continues to evolve beyond traditional search engines, Legalfit helps firms compete across both conventional search and AI-powered discovery, including Google AI Overviews and leading generative AI platforms.

Key Responsibilities

As an Account Executive, you will play a key role in growing Legalfit revenue by identifying, qualifying, educating, and closing prospective law firm clients.

This role requires more than traditional sales experience. Successful Account Executives must be comfortable discussing digital marketing strategy, evaluating a prospect’s current online presence, understanding competitive positioning, and explaining how Legalfit can improve visibility across traditional search engines and emerging AI-powered search experiences.

Account Executives are expected to develop working knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Local SEO, Artificial Intelligence Optimization (AIO), Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), and Large Language Model Optimization (LLMO) and communicate these concepts in an understandable, consultative way to attorneys and law firm decision-makers.

When engaging with prospective clients, Account Executives will research the firm’s current website, organic search visibility, local presence, competitive landscape, and existing marketing providers to tailor recommendations around the prospect’s business goals.

This position works closely with Legalfit’s Sales, Marketing, SEO, Client Services, and Operations teams to identify opportunities, communicate market feedback, and ensure alignment between what is sold and what Legalfit delivers.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct consultative sales presentations and product demonstrations with prospective law firms generated through SDR, marketing, partner, and self-generated channels.
  •  Meet or exceed individual revenue, new business, and activity goals.
  •  Manage opportunities throughout the complete sales cycle, from discovery and qualification through proposal, negotiation, and close.
  •  Maintain a fundamental understanding of Legalfit’s products and services and clearly communicate their business value to prospective clients.
    •  Develop working knowledge of digital marketing disciplines including:
    • Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
    • Local SEO and Google Business Profile optimization
    • On-page and technical SEO
    • Content strategy
    • Link building and authority development
    • Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO)
    • Paid search, including PPC and Local Services Ads (LSAs)

    • AI-powered search and discovery
    • Artificial Intelligence Optimization (AIO)
    • Generative Engine Optimization (GEO)
    • Answer Engine Optimization (AEO)
    • Large Language Model Optimization (LLMO)
  • Understand how traditional SEO and AI-search optimization work together to improve a law firm’s visibility across search engines, AI-generated answers, and large language model-driven platforms.
  •  Evaluate prospective clients’ websites, search visibility, competitive landscape, current marketing providers, and overall digital presence to support consultative sales conversations.
  •  Explain digital marketing performance and strategy to attorneys and law firm professionals who may not have a technical marketing background.
  •  Conduct competitive research and tailor sales presentations based on a prospect’s market, practice areas, business objectives, and current marketing strategy.
  •  Understand customer business drivers, buying criteria, decision-making processes, competitive considerations, and desired outcomes.
  •  Maintain an active pipeline and consistently follow up with prospects and opportunities.
  •  Self-prospect and generate new opportunities in accordance with company best practices and procedures.
  •  Identify, research, and gather relevant information on prospective firms and decision-makers.
  •  Effectively qualify inbound and outbound opportunities based on fit, need, timing, decision-making authority, and business objectives.
  •  Accurately maintain opportunities, activities, notes, forecasts, and pipeline information within the company CRM.
  •  Stay current on trends and developments within SEO, AI-powered search, digital marketing, legal technology, and the legal services industry.
  •  Maintain awareness of competitors’ products, services, pricing models, positioning, and sales strategies.
  •  Share prospect feedback, competitive intelligence, objections, and market trends with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Operations leadership.
  •  Perform other duties as assigned by management.
