Key Responsibilities:<\/b><\/div>
- Prepare and file corporate (T2) and personal (T1) tax returns.<\/span><\/li>
- Assist with GST\/HST filings, payroll taxes, and other routine submissions.<\/li>
- Support basic tax planning to help reduce tax liabilities.<\/li>
- Stay updated with Canadian tax rules and regulations.<\/li>
- Review financial data to ensure accurate tax calculations.<\/li>
- Handle basic tax notices and communicate with authorities when needed.<\/li>
- Use accounting software like QuickBooks, Xero, and CaseWare.<\/li>
- Maintain bookkeeping records and prepare financial reports.<\/li>
- Coordinate with the team to complete tasks on time.<\/li><\/ul><\/div><\/span>
Requirements<\/h3>
- <\/b>Bachelor\\u2019s\/Master\\u2019s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field<\/span><\/li>
- Minimum 4\-5 years of experience in Canadian taxation \x26amp; accounting<\/li>
- Strong knowledge of Canadian tax laws, CRA regulations, and compliance<\/li>
- Experience with T1, T2, GST\/HST, and payroll tax filings<\/li>
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, CaseWare, TaxCycle, or similar software<\/li>
- Excellent analytical, problem\-solving, and attention to detail skills<\/li>
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines<\/li>
- Strong communication skills in English (written \x26amp; verbal)<\/li><\/ul>
