SAP LO module – Logistics General Experts

Job Description

The Opportunity: Pentoz is looking for a highly skilled SAP LO (Logistics - General) Expert to join our remote consulting team. In this role, you will play a key part in optimizing our clients' logistics processes by implementing and managing SAP LO functionalities across procurement, inventory, warehouse management, and order fulfillment. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated, agile logistics operations in both ECC and S/4HANA environments. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP LO modules including Purchasing (MM-PUR), Inventory Management (MM-IM), Logistics Execution (LE), and related functions Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP logistics solutions across various industry verticals Implement and optimize core logistics processes such as procurement, goods movement, stock transfers, vendor evaluation, and delivery scheduling Configure master data management for materials, vendors, and logistics-related objects Support integration of SAP LO with modules like SD, MM, PP, WM, and QM Provide hands-on support during cutover, go-live, and post-implementation phases Collaborate with technical teams for enhancements, custom developments, and performance tuning Conduct training sessions for end-users and prepare system documentation Participate in digital transformation projects including SAP S/4HANA migration and logistics innovation initiatives Required Qualifications: 5+ years of hands-on experience with SAP LO module and subcomponents such as MM, LE, and Inventory Management Strong knowledge of logistics business processes in manufacturing, distribution, or retail industries Proficiency in configuration and functional design of logistics workflows Experience integrating SAP LO with other modules (SD, PP, WM, etc.) and third-party systems Solid understanding of master data, document flow, and movement types Familiarity with SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA systems Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field Strong problem-solving skills with excellent verbal and written communication Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with global teams in a remote environment Preferred Qualifications: Experience with S/4HANA Logistics (formerly known as Simple Logistics) Knowledge of SAP Fiori apps related to logistics processes Exposure to EDI, RFID, or barcode integrations within logistics Certification in SAP Logistics or related areas Background in transportation management, warehouse operations, or global trade compliance What We Offer: 100% remote role with flexible working hours Competitive compensation and performance-based incentives Access to global logistics transformation projects and digital SAP ecosystems Continuous learning and development opportunities Career growth path to SAP Logistics Architect, SCM Program Lead, or Digital Supply Chain Strategist About Pentoz: Pentoz is a fast-growing tech and consulting company committed to helping businesses digitize and modernize their operations.
