For 25 years, DrFirst has empowered providers and patients to achieve better health through intelligent medication management. We improve healthcare workflows and help patients start and stay on therapy with end-to-end solutions that enhance prescription access, affordability, and adherence. Our solutions help 100 million patients a year and are used by more than 420,000 prescribers, 71,000 pharmacies, 270 EHRs and health information systems, and over 2,000 hospitals in the U.S. This is a great opportunity to be a part of a successful Healthcare IT company experiencing significant growth. Here you’ll get to work with some of the smartest and most interesting people around, solving unique and complex challenges in healthcare on a scale matched by few companies. If you get excited about stretching yourself in new ways, developing yourself to your fullest potential, and care about working with smart colleagues, we want to talk to you! DrFirst has a functioning marketing team. Communications, PR, content, and design are in place. What is missing is the strategic center of gravity that makes all of it commercially sharp. The Product Marketing Manager owns the story. You sit at the intersection of Product, Analytics, and the commercial organization, translating what DrFirst builds into precise messaging that Sales uses to win, Client Success uses to retain, and the marketing team executes against. You are embedded in the product development cycle, not downstream of it. This role requires both strategic depth and feature-level fluency. You must understand DrFirst's products well enough to write a demo script, train a sales rep on a new release, and articulate the Patient vs. Provider positioning distinction to a C-suite audience, often in the same week. You set the messaging direction and own the brief. MarCom writes, design produces, and comms amplifies. You define the message, drive quality and speed, and work through MarCom to deliver, and directly with designers and writers when the timeline or complexity requires it. Messaging Architecture & Commercial Positioning Own the master messaging framework for DrFirst's products and solutions, positioning, value props, proof points, and audience-specific narratives, as the single source of truth the entire commercial organization works from Position to Patient and Provider audiences: different buyers, different problems, different language, one coherent platform story Develop deep familiarity with DrFirst's feature set, enough to write accurately, brief confidently, and train effectively, and keep that knowledge current as products evolve Keep messaging current as products change, results come in, and the competitive landscape shifts; deprecate outdated claims proactively Release Notes & Product-to-Market Translation Attend product reviews, sprint demos, and roadmap sessions; identify what matters commercially and translate it into clear, benefit-focused communications before the market hears it elsewhere Digest release notes and engineering updates and produce the commercial interpretation: what changed, why it matters to customers, and what Sales and Client Success should say in renewal conversations and new business pitches Surface the commercial nuggets buried in technical updates and get them into the hands of the field quickly Position each release as evidence of DrFirst's innovation velocity with existing customers, not just a feature announcement Demo Scripts & Talk Track Development Produce the talk track for how DrFirst's products work, the narrative a seller or Client Success manager follows to show value, handle objections, and move a conversation forward Join the product development cycle early enough to shape how new features are demonstrated, not just how they are described after the fact Develop and maintain demo scripts for key product lines and use cases; update them with each significant release or competitive shift Commercial Proof Points & Data Stewardship Serve as the keeper of DrFirst's performance statistics, the master record of results, program outcomes, and platform metrics used in market-facing messaging Work with Analytics and Client Success to surface, verify, and contextualize results; ensure every external proof point is specific, current, and defensible Build a repeatable process for capturing and refreshing data so the commercial team never sells with stale or unverifiable claims Translate raw results into proof points with proper framing for a brand marketer, a health system executive, or a pharma media buyer Commercial Enablement & Training Own product enablement for the commercial team: release training, product deep-dives, and new feature briefings for Sales and Client Success Partner with sales enablement on ongoing training, coaching, and reinforcement so messaging accuracy holds between launch and the field conversation Own positioning and competitive updates as a standing responsibility; brief the commercial team on what to say when a prospect raises a competitor Market & Competitive Intelligence Conduct ongoing research into competitor positioning, product launches, and go-to-market strategies, including Epic's expanding capabilities in this space Gather field intelligence with the commercial team: what competitors say in deals, what objections surface, and what influences buyer decisions Provide the research and commercial analysis that populates MarCom's competitive battle cards; own the accuracy and currency of that input Roadmap Narrative, Commercial Innovation & AI Story Partner with Product Management to translate the roadmap into forward-looking narratives the commercial team can speak to confidently Tell the commercial innovation story, using examples like Timely Studio's self-serve custom demo capabilities to demonstrate the pace and direction of investment Develop and own the narrative for how DrFirst uses AI in its products and commercial processes, translated into honest, specific, benefit-led messages for a healthcare audience Experience 5+ years in product marketing or a closely related commercial strategy role within healthcare technology, health IT, or B2B SaaS Demonstrated experience building messaging frameworks and positioning from the ground up, not just executing someone else's strategy Proven track record working directly with Product and Engineering teams, attending sprint reviews and translating technical outputs for commercial audiences Experience writing or contributing to demo scripts, talk tracks, and sales training materials Experience delivering product training or enablement to commercial teams, including release briefings and competitive updates Background in competitive intelligence research, synthesizing findings into field-ready guidance Hands-on experience sourcing, verifying, and framing quantitative evidence for market-facing use Experience briefing and directing creative and content teams, holding output accountable to a brief without doing the execution Prior experience in a HIPAA-regulated or healthcare enterprise environment preferred Familiarity with e-prescribing, pharmacy benefit, point-of-care, or clinical workflow technology preferred Skills & Competencies Exceptional written communication: sharp, precise messaging documents, demo scripts, briefs, and frameworks others can execute from without further interpretation Feature-level product fluency: willing and able to go deep on how DrFirst's products work, not just what they do Strong analytical mindset: sourcing data, identifying the right metrics, and framing numbers as proof points Organizational influence without authority: setting messaging direction that content, design, comms, and sales teams follow without a direct reporting line Strategic clarity on multi-audience positioning: holding distinct Patient and Provider narratives without fracturing the platform story Fluency with AI tools as a working aid to research faster, draft sharper, and think more broadly Structured thinking and project management discipline: tracking multiple workstreams, maintaining version control, meeting commercial deadlines Strong executive communication skills across Product, Sales, and Marketing Education Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field required MBA or advanced degree a plus Product marketing certifications (Pragmatic Institute, Product Marketing Alliance, or equivalent) a plus Primarily desk-based with occasional travel to industry conferences, partner meetings, and internal team events Estimated 10 to 20% travel #LI-GF1 #LI-Remote Competitive compensation, with a base salary of $130,000 to $150,000 (Exact compensation may vary based on skills and experience) Eligible for Company Performance-based Bonus Program, based on individual and company performance Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401K eligible after 3 months of employment, with 50% company match up to first 5% of salary contributed to the plan with a 3-year vesting schedule HSA for eligible employees enrolled in the HDHP, with a generous company contribution up to $500 for individual coverage and $1,000 for family coverage per year 100% company paid short and long-term disability, AD&D, and group life insurance Accrued annual paid time off (PTO) of 18 days for the first 3 years of service, increasing thereafter, plus 7 paid holiday days Employee Assistance Program Continuing Education funds up to $1,500 annually for eligible programs after 1 year of service Voluntary benefits including FSA, Hospital Indemnity, Accident, and Critical Illness insurances DrFirst is committed to being a Remote-First company, creating a dynamic and flexible workplace where everyone can thrive, no matter where they log in from.
